If you’ve ever scrolled through review after review trying to find a pest control company you can actually trust, you already know the problem — everyone claims to be the best. At All About Pests, we’d rather let Edmonton do the talking. We’re the highest-rated pest control Edmonton company, with a perfect 5.0-star average across 128 Google reviews — and there are real, specific reasons behind that number.
Here’s what’s actually behind the rating, and why so many local homeowners and businesses make the switch.
The short answer: what makes us the highest-rated choice
All About Pests earns its 5.0 rating through a simple formula: modern tools most local companies don’t use, family- and pet-safe treatments, honest upfront pricing, and a guarantee that backs the work — all delivered by a local, family-owned team with more than 20 years of industry experience. No call centres. No outsourcing. No surprise upsells. When you call, you reach someone who knows your name and your home.
A perfect 5.0 across 128 reviews — and why that matters
A handful of five-star reviews is easy. Holding a perfect 5.0 across 128 of them is not. It means we’ve delivered a consistent experience hundreds of times — showing up on time, explaining the plan in plain language, and following through.
Read the reviews and you’ll see the same words again and again: punctual, knowledgeable, thorough, and respectful. Customers regularly name technicians like Travis (our bird and wildlife specialist, with 7 years of experience) and the rest of the crew by name — because they remember who helped them. That kind of consistency is the whole point of choosing a local company over a faceless national chain.
Modern tools most Edmonton companies don’t use
A lot of pest control hasn’t changed in decades. We’ve modernized the parts that actually improve results:
- Drone inspections. As certified RPA drone operators, we inspect rooftops, soffits, vents, gutters, and other hard-to-reach areas without ladders or guesswork — so we find problems before they spread.
- Thermal imaging and inspection wall cameras. We can detect rodents, wildlife, and insect activity hidden inside walls, attics, and voids, instead of treating blind.
- Bird Barrier Optical Gel. For bird and pigeon control in Edmonton, we use a humane, spike-free deterrent that protects your building without the ugly hardware.
- Aprehend for bed bugs. Our bed bug treatment uses the Aprehend bio-based product — safe for people and pets, and often effective in a single visit.
New tech, proven results. We use what works and skip the gimmicks.
Family-safe treatments and honest pricing
We’re a family-owned business, so “family-safe” isn’t a marketing line for us — it’s how we treat every home. Our Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach targets the pest, not your household, and we’ll always explain what we’re applying and any short-term precautions.
We’re also upfront about cost. Many companies make you hand over your address before they’ll talk numbers. We publish a price guide instead. As a few examples, wasp nest removal starts at $225, rodent control starts at $295, and our year-round Home Shield protection plans start at $80/month with callbacks included. You’ll know what to expect before we start.
Backed by a real guarantee
Anyone can promise results. We put it in writing with our “We’ve Got You” Guarantee: we explain the plan before we start, treat thoroughly using best-practice methods for your pest and property, and if something doesn’t seem right afterward, we’ll troubleshoot and determine whether a follow-up is needed. Home Shield customers get structured follow-ups and ongoing coverage. You can read the full service guarantee here.
